old-carter-straight-rye-whiskey-batch-6
Old Carter Straight Rye Whiskey Batch 6

Old Carter Straight Rye Whiskey Batch 6 is a barrel-strength small batch from Old Carter Whiskey Co., the Kentucky label founded by Mark and Sherri Carter, the Napa Valley couple who made their name blending Kentucky Owl before selling that brand and starting over with Old Carter in 2018. Every Old Carter release is a numbered, tightly limited batch, bottled at barrel strength with no chill filtration, and the ryes have become some of the most sought-after bottles among American whiskey collectors.

Batch 6 is bottled at 116.3 proof (58.15% ABV), and like the rest of the line it is built from sourced barrels chosen and blended by the Carters for depth rather than volume. Old Carter's ryes are known for a rich, dessert-like profile, with the age and proof bringing dark caramel, baking spice, dried fruit and toasted oak together with the pepper and mint of the rye grain. The distinctive tall bottle and letterpress label are unmistakable on a shelf. Once a batch sells through it is never repeated, which is exactly why these bottles disappear so quickly.

Buy Old Carter Straight Rye Whiskey Batch 6 online with fast shipping right to your door.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1015/0094/4753/files/old-carter-straight-rye-whiskey-batch-6_1.jpg?v=1792718135
